The Offbeats specialize in up to eight-part vocal jazz arrangements, spanning styles like swing, bebop, Latin jazz, contemporary jazz, and pop‑inspired selections. Our shows feature a professional rhythm section, led by jazz pianist John Hansen. Solo and small‑group opportunities are woven into the ensemble experience, too!

Kelley Johnson is an internationally acclaimed jazz vocalist, arranger, lyricist, and educator who leads The Offbeats with artistry and warmth. Kelley’s leadership fosters musical excellence while prioritizing inclusivity—she encourages singers of all experience levels to audition, learn, and grow together in The Offbeats’ vibrant community. Beyond her work with the group, Kelley is widely respected for her solo recordings and her teaching at Cornish College, Bellevue’s Music Works Northwest, and other regional music schools.
